Interventions
Interventions are never considered lightly. Understandably, the time leading up to the point of seeking an interventionist can be extremely difficult, filled with confusion, frustration, doubt and pain.

First and foremost, an intervention is a process, NOT AN EVENT. As the interventionist, we help you and your family create a loving environment to address the problem and provide a sustainable solution. This solution is predetermined and planned to ensure that your loved one receives optimal support that allows them to launch into a recovery and healing journey. To do this, it takes your help, involvement and commitment.

Our experience has taught us that too often our loved ones miss out on the opportunity to get help due to a distorted view of their problem. Too often we have heard “I am not hurting anyone”, which we know is not the truth. We facilitate families in disrupting their loved one’s addiction. Once disrupted, we provide an opportunity that will allow them grow into the best version of themselves.

Bridge The Gap interventionists are prepared to guide families in their fight against their loved one’s addiction, develop an effective plan of action, and win them back.

Intervention is a viable bridge through thee common problem of Addiction & Mental health crisis.

Interventions have goals with multiple avenues and techniques to achieve them. Most paramount is to get the identified love one to accept the offer of help. This can be accomplished through a variety of approaches and levels of disruption. Our belief is that this can be done with a level of forethought that is least harmful to the family as a whole and that creates a space for an entirely new footing. Understanding the entire family system, supporting each family member, educating loved ones, tactfully using current situations, and having an open mind is paramount to the best outcome.

Are you ready to team up and be a part of that difference?
We believe in that team.

We believe that love can be highlighted in such a way that a breakdown of the instinctual walls created in families struggling is a beautiful and powerful experience. We do not subscribe to the idea that someone isn’t worth the effort or too far gone.

Bridge The Gap makes a commitment to step into that uncomfortable place and have the conversation. Normalize this communication, remove stereotypes & prejudices from the equation. People who are struggling deserve love, advocacy & support.

We have found that underneath the rough edges and actions of these individuals is a person who desires a better way. The details in how we offer that better way make all the difference.

We Believe in this Process

Phases of an Intervention
↳ CONSULTATION/QUALIFICATION

It is important to know all the facts surrounding the problematic behavior surrounding this decision. Building an objective profile of the Identified Love One and surrounding factors helps determine the best routes to take within the Intervention process.

↳ PRE-INTERVENTION

If we are being honest the pre-intervention process encompasses the next few steps and it is really the most important part of the entire process. It cannot be taken lightly. This step builds all we get to employ throughout the intervention.

↳ INTERVENTION TEAM BUILDING

Who is involved in the intervention matters greatly in the outcome, taking great care in the construction of this team can tip the scales in face of a problem so difficult to overcome.

↳ TEAM & INDIVIDUAL COACHING

We want to create a cohesive team that works and leans on each other in the best way possible. This education helps to align and confirm our goals with the correct focus. Teaching techniques to draw out a conversation that is meaningful and effective. Some members of our team will need extra support, so we want to identify and provide that need.

↳ SUPPORT OPTIONS

We must come with a solution that is appropriate, serves the needs of our love one, is financial suitable, attractive and well equipped for all the factors surrounding your love ones particular needs. Often pricing is the only factor and to employ individuals that have an understanding of your family’s circumstances and the industry’s nuances can be weight and stress removed out of the process. BTG has a vast network of partners on hand to connect in support and treatment.

↳ DATE/INVITATION

Choosing the moment in which to have and intervention that works best & how we invite that event can be a great advantage.

↳ INTERVENTION

This is the moment we work towards, when the magic happens and when we see the fruit of our labor. The love we have can be put on display and movement created in the crisis. We are excited to hear your loved one say yes

↳ TRANSPORT

Pre-planned, as there can be a fleeting nature to this acceptance. This is the seal on our hard work and final yard lines in the process.
